Hi everyone!
Today I decided to start studying the best animated movies of all time, watching them each twice: the first time for fun, the second time trying to understand each element individually, including pace, lenght of shots, composition, flow and movement, characters body language, music, etc.
This is because I'm planning to make a short animated film next year, and I want to make a good one, even if it's only like a couple of minutes in lenght.
I'm starting off with Studio Ghibli's movies, because they're the most beautiful things ever.
If you know of any amazing movie like that, especially old traditionally animated, then please tell me!
I just finished watching "Laputa - The Flying Castle" (or some of you may know it as "Castle in the Sky")
Simply breathtaking....
Next one will be either "My Neighbor Totoro" or "Naüsicaa, of the Valey of the Wind".
About my other projects, there's a gift for one of my Watchers that I'm working on, the Kiriban Prize, and an Art Trade with the amazing and enchanting beauty, !

If anyone that remembers me is reading this, I am happy to announce that I am back in deviantArt! But since its been a few years since I've posted anything, I decided to make another account, by the name of apf612.
So, if you want to see any of my (new) work, I'll be waiting there.
Thank you all for everything!
See ya!

I'm back!
Oh, hi my watchers and everyone else.
I was really busy these last few weeks and had no time to update my gallery or post anything.
But I'm back now. =)
Happiness or despair?
OMG.
I went to the usual newsstand yesterday, you know, just to check if there were any good manga for me to buy.
Just happened that a found some books in there.
And comics.
And then I looked at then.
And they looked at me.
And one of them was a Neil Gaiman compilation of best stories. Deluxe edition, too!
It kept looking at me.
Those damn sexy eyes.
And when I decided to buy it, it told me to "free the other ones, because they wish to whisper me secrets that will help me in my journey"...
Yesterday I spent over R$ 100,00 in the usual newsstand.
And there were no mangas (that I wanted).
OMG
Are those tears of happiness or of despair?
Art Block
It started a week ago or so.
But now it's starting to go away.
I'm impressed by Yoshitaka Amano's art, and seeing how he does his artworks I realized what was lacking in mine.
Thank you all for the support =)

I'd say watch My Neighbour Totoro. But if you want to cry buckets like I did, watch grave of the fireflies.
I stayed in my room for a while after watching that... I'm not good with sad stories.
Thank you so much for mentioning my work.
